Thanks For Your Support as we raised 10,000 euros for Birr ASI Day Center

Michael was delighted to be able to present a cheque for 10,000 Euros to Claire Dolan, Manager of the Birr Day Care Centre.

Through sales of his book More Things I Taught My Parents About … SPACE and generous donations, we were able to reach out target of 10K euros. Claire pointed out that unfortunately there is still a bit of of stigma in Ireland surrounding neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s. This impacts their ability to raise much needed funds. So she was delighted to accept the money which would go help recruit more support workers to help the ASI Day Center offer more help to people suffering from Alzheimer’s in Birr and their carers.

Thank you again and know that all monies raised go direct to the charities to support them with the great work they do.
